2015-11-07_Future_and_New_Past_45 We come to the 45th. Presentation in this year of preparation for 2016. It is a. Great problem in the world currently. As usual. Because the social order. Has scrambled the cultural. Basis for itself. And that particular kind of scramble is a very, very deep. It goes back to distorting the ritual comportment of existence of our whole species. So one of the ways to characterize if one were a doctor of civilization, the sickness, it's actually a sickness unto death, as Kierkegaard understood and wrote about 150 years ago. Fear and trembling. The misunderstanding. Is scar tissue deep. We talk about. Transgressing rules. But we talk in the same vein about breaking the law. Rules are ritual based for culture that, by tradition organizes, arranges the rules usually on the natural cycle of annual re occurrence. But laws. While rules and cultures are mythologically a process of experience. Rules belong to symbols that integrate. The miss ritual nature into. Ideas into an ideation which is acquainted with the quality of tradition as being the idea of identity, and that the procedure then ritually is one of identification and that the ideas actually are knit together as an ideology. And so the social order of symbols comes to dominate the cultural milieu of tradition, and in doing so, seeks to dominate the ritual basis. And one of the qualities of a ritual basis. Is that it is existential. It deals with existent phenomena and it deals with the typical actions that can be arranged. And so it is the comportment of those ritual actions, along with the arrangement of the phenomena associated with them arranged by them. And this is then what is the experience? That passes on in our particular species intact, more or less from its generation about 200,000 years ago, and coming into a very strong sense about 40 or 50,000 years ago. That this culture with its ritual comportment traditions. Have rules that are portable and can be carried. And wherever the species goes, they bring it with them. And so about 50,000 years ago, 40,000, roughly 45,000 as a median. There came a great exploring exodus out of Africa into the what we call the Near East or the Mid East into the Levant, and ranging out eventually into what became Europe and into the reaches of Asia. When the Paleolithic. Reached that quality. What was necessary for them symbolically was to have the organization of the rituals and the material. By that time, the phenomena that were worked in were animals. Some plants, some minerals, but the minerals in color applications, the plants in the preparation for that application. But it was to make images of the animals through painting, through an expression, and bringing the images that now began to play as an image base, not just the ritual base, but the image base that was really the fruit of the ritual action arrangement. Now, the arrangement of images became the modus operandi of advanced culture, almost a prototypical origin of what much later will become civilization. And this social order learned that the real mystery of nature is that it had a pair, it had a twin, it had another field, if you will, that nature's field had a visionary field that was its. Co resonant making the tune ability of the whole cycle that nature, ritual myths and symbols made us made a cycle that was whole and benefited culture so that it could expand and that the development of the taming of the plants led to the Neolithic about 14 or 15,000 years ago. And the taming of the plants led to the increased taming of animals. Some an animal like the wolf was tamed into dogs about 25,000 years ago, but the Taming of Animals all of a sudden were concomitant of taming the plants and thus raising culture to a social level where there were expanded cultures that came into contact with each other. And that inter cultural tapestry sought to find common denominators in especially images. Some of the late 19th, early 20th century founders of anthropology and eventually sociology and psychology. The social sciences understood that the health of the cultural comportment for a social order needing laws was to have the rules support the integral of the laws so that the completeness of the natural cycle was one of a grand integral expressed. By the symbols arranged as having a focus a an identification identity. But the mysteriousness of dreams, of the ability to foresee, of the insight, of being able to by this time imagine the images are feeling toned. And so the feeling of confidence, the feeling tone of being in order. The social order and having arranged the rules. So that it now is a refined tradition and that all of this is enjoined in the ability to incorporate, at least in some symbol, the quality that there is a sense of other ness mysteriously operating in the natural cycle and in Paleolithic cave painting. One finds that these are red. Splotches like points which actually now can be characterized as presence points. And it's not just one, but there is a whole array of them. And one we have talked about this. One of the great discoveries is that the hand which posits the presence points and the animals in that arrangement is the hand of the artist that has both a phenomenal impress. It makes these in caves, not only pictures, but also sculptures of animals and of the relationality of nature with this visionary mystery, with the animal primordial nature of man, which is the naked woman of great size, the earth mother, the great mother who holds some 30,000 years ago, and one of the earliest sculptures of her, not so much. It doesn't need a face yet, but a head. Very large breasts paired, very large hips paired. Very large thighs paired at a seventh. Pregnancy as the center as that seven circle constituent of the female nude holding aloft a curved horn. Some far eastern cultures made it a crescent of a conch shell, like in India. This was the crescent moon that the order of the moon is here in the arranged order of the availability for the human woman to conceive, to become pregnant, to commence seeding birth. And the interchange of the species of the genders, of the races, even of the different cultures, into something more sophisticated, approaching almost a civilization. In our time. The chaos is that of miseducation stacked upon miseducation. For close to 2000 years with bright spots here and there. From those who learned, from those who remembered, from those who creatively imagining were able to bring their arts into that dimension where one could actually be able to learn and remember it and to express it in a prismatic person. Not an identity and a learning, not an identification. And in community B that now had a resonance, almost like a magnetic field to go with the electrifying field of the dynamic of phenomena and actions. Now there was the dimension of being able to choreograph this so that a beauty of better reality would come into play. 2000 years ago almost. Three. Men. We're selected. To write and keep track of the appearance of a new kind of man. One that had a precedent, but that that precedent had progressively refined itself. And now the time was ready to have a completely new kind of man in a completely new pairing. That the inability of male and female genders of the Homo sapiens sapiens y is about being wise, not just a repetition of refinement could emerge into a larger realm, and that larger realm would be beyond not only the underground of Paleolithic temple art and symbols, and not just the Neolithic raising of the bar. That civilization now could begin to tame the animals and the plants, the minerals, the metals themselves, and engender finally, the ability to have written symbols like hieroglyphics or Chinese glyphs or cuneiform patterns, and that this matured to be able to have the rudiments of a written language that expressed that the cycle was no longer just a cycle, but had a dynamic so that it made a kind of a spiral and that that ongoing ness of it engendered, in fact, not only one spiral, but like male and female, like positive and negative, light and dark. It was chiral, not dual, as in an idea, in an ideology, but Cairo as in that magnetic extra dimension of visioning. The dynamic of time was disclosing an incredible mystery that was apparent in having, like the two hands come together or the two eyes not just focus, but to be able to focus in a sense that one kept track of a very large scalar field within which the focus was relational. The pair of legs of being able not only to walk or run, but to be able to dance. 2000 years ago, someone that almost no one has ever seen a portrait of. Was one of the three men chosen to record. The first one who was actually chosen was named Tomas. Tomas. Tomas was from Damascus and at the time was a major nexus on the great caravan routes that came from the east into the Middle East down towards Egypt and Africa. And Thomas is the author of The Gospel of Thomas The Sayings of the Living Jesus 114 Sayings. The second one was named Philip, and Philip was especially interested in that kind of a meeting, which was a mystical marriage, which was a tuning that brought the mystery into play in such a way that the natural not cycle, but the natural chiral spirals were able to engender a refinement of the entire species. Of man being raised to a new generation of maturity. That, though man had emerged in very high cultures, was now ready to emerge. And civilization and a phrase that could be used for that is that species now is son of man, man of this world. Son of man of all the world's all the stars. Of the cosmos. The third man was named Matthew. His given name was Levi. And Matthew means actually a a grace of God. And Matthew founds the New Testament. In his gospel. One of the most recent three volume studies and the great series Herminia. By a man named Lutz Ulrich. Lose, lose, lose a. German trained. German academic trained. And when he begins his huge commentary, the first volume was the last done. It was done in 2007. The first volume was 2001, which was volume two, and volume three was 2005. So he worked on in the first decade of the 21st century of bringing this to a fruition. And it's interesting because when it comes to giving his commentary and giving a translation of the text and you can hear the warning, you can hear the caution already as a synchronistic bell. That something is wrong. He begins not with Matthew 1.1, but with Matthew 1.2. And it begins then in his translation and his commentary at the very top of the academic. Identifiable identity founding id confirming web of disregard and of breaking. The very social structure that now is seen to pretend to own. Abraham begat Isaac. Isaac begat Jacob. And then he goes on with the translation of Matthew 1.2 on down. What is missing in 1.1, which Matthew wrote. And you must understand that, Matthew. Was not only named Levi, he was a Levite. He was that special tribe of all of the sons of Jacob, the 12 tribes of Israel. That was 12 sons of Jacob. When it came time to portion out a triumphal return to that promised land of Abraham by the grandson, Generation Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph. Who became the second most powerful person in Egypt and who took in the core of his graciousness, his competence. And so highly revered that his two sons, Ephraim and Manassa, became members of the tribe of Israel, of the Sons of Jacob, even though they were grandsons of him, technically. Yeah. Joseph's wife was asking us, which was the Egyptian name given to the sister. The only girl kept track of as children Of Jacob? Yes. The 12 sons. By several wives. By a concubine. But it's interesting to see. Sneath was the only daughter, and her given name was Dina. Who was seized at a time. And raped. And caused the two most powerful of her brothers, the older ones, to institute a raid that killed not only those who had raped her, but all involved. And she was sent for safety's sake out of the bickering, warlike, violent, to heal culture retreat. And she was sent to Egypt. And there she honorably married one of the most powerful men in Egypt. He was the high priest at Heliopolis, the very centre, religious centre, visionary centre of ancient Egypt at that time. We're talking about 1600 B.C.. Essence married that Joseph so that the whole quality of the tribes holding lands that would sustain them economically were rearranged. And while all of the other tribes were given areas of land, the Levites were not they were given Senate cures in certain selection of villages, of little communities, but they were not landholders because what their land was, was the visionary land of the law, of the way in which the quality of the presence of the mysterious divine was kept track of in the generations of inheritance. And the dating of that was to go back to Abraham. And that Abraham then was the way in which the genealogy increased. And as it increased in time in that double chiral dynamic of time forms. Matthew and his beginning of the New Testament 1.1 The Book of the Genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham, the Son of David, 1000 years before him, the Son of Abraham is of 1000 years after the son of David. So that one leaps in two millennia, a pair, a tuned pair of time form millennia, 1000 years. Like a calibration that somehow. The dynamic, the power of civilization. Is in the time forms and that they not only have what could recognize as a cycle with sub cycles epicycles, but they have a double chirality and that double chirality comes into play. Because the time forms have not only a carrier wave when they have arrived at a new. Yates used to call them gyres. They helical spiraling things of the way in which reality mysteriously works, even on the level of sophisticated civilization, especially one ready to go and make an expansion of home among the stars in heaven itself. And so when one looks at one point, one of the gospel of Matthew, one finds Matthew, who is an extraordinary figure, the only portrait that survives of Matthew at the time. Survives as a traditional. Portrait of the old Matthew. Heavily bearded, bearded and aged that was recovered from Ethiopia because he was sent as a missionary. About 41 ad about five years after the crucifixion resurrection. Not a Last Supper crucifixion, but a resurrection. First breakfast. And about five years after, while Thomas was sent to India, Matthew was sent to Ethiopia. And some four or five years before Philip accompanied a group that went to Ephesus under the direction of Mary Magdalene, who was the Cairo tuned spiraling quality with Jesus in Alexandria, as is best to call him now, to sidestep all of the mythology that has scrambled all of the symbolic ideologies that are broken. I have made from that early, late portrait, a portrait of Matthew. And one can see he is an extraordinary, tough, relentlessly honest. One is a Levite who has kept track of the generations precisely and their ordering in time, but also in the time forms that give them a special coherence. It is not only that there is a millennium in between Abraham and David King David thousand years, but in that second millennium, specifically, Matthew singles out something at a midpoint of that thousand years, so that you have 500 years on both sides of that midpoint. And that is the suffering of a taking away of an exile that then was brought to a conclusion and a return back, specifically a return back to Jerusalem. And from there to the birth, the appearance of Jesus in Bethlehem, that 500 years plus the other 500 years making that millennium have a midpoint. There is also a midpoint not specified but visionary understood also between David and Abraham. But that midpoint is hidden. It's hidden. And the best way to describe that kind of a midpoint is Aldous Huxley's phrase the Via Negativa. It's not negative. It's that it is hidden. It's underground. It's secret. It's all called in the sense that it is hidden. It's import that the millennium is a triumphal rise. Back to this equilibrium and then goes from there to a high point, a crest that matches the trough because an energy sine wave always has that signature. It always has that paradox within a triplicate beginning, middle and end. It's a mythological way of expressing the full story. With the pair having its own paradise so that you have a quartet of 500 years in an energy cycle that is complete in a 2000 year double millennium period. When we come back from a break, we'll take a look at the way in which there was at that time leading up to our own time of a completely new time form that has come into play in such a way as to devastate the entire so called identified identification identity achievement of a corrupted. Transgression of rules of tradition and a breaking of. The arrangement of laws of integration. And we're going to be able to see that this had happened 2000 years before and it happened 2000 years before that. So that in that 6000 years we are like a third, a resolving third of carrier waves of time, forms of civilization leading to the maturity that frees us. From just being of this world into being at home in the cosmos. Impaired. Frustrated. Near apocalyptic if one saw it only as a millennium destruction. But one that can be understood as a resolving of civilization itself. And we'll take a little break and then come back to this. Let's come back to understanding. That there is a very powerful ability for a dimension of in the ecology of consciousness, in the field of vision, which is infinite. It's an infinite field, like nature is a zero field, but a fertile zero field. One can even now scientifically. For a long time note. Practicality comes and goes. It emerges and it re absorbs emission and absorption. In the Gospel of Matthew. The time. Forms of civilization are given briefly in terms of generations. The calibration is not years, but generations. So that the years become approximate until. 2000 years ago. And because. Academicians in their hubris. Are loathe to give some kind of a specific accuracy. The birth of Jesus was on Passover nine B.C.. In Bethlehem. Which means that the eon the 2000 years later is actually 1991. And if you need an apocalyptic ionic. Photo. Look at any kind of a photo of Iraq with the American invasion, with the sky black from 600 oil wells bringing a real apocalypse and the poisonous gas. And so all of the American troops have gas masks and they look like aliens in an alien landscape. That's this earth. And that was only Iraq with oil wealth. The first chapter of Matthew. Is the first of 28 chapters of Matthew. Now it's interesting because they three volumes by Ullrich. He gets the first volume sequence right by having chapters one through seven. But the second volume completely skews and erases the ability to read Matthew in its comprehensive geometry. Of time form calibrations. Remember? Now the time form will have its beginning, middle and end. It'll have a triple understanding of the dynamic. Like a thrice greatest. Guide, very hermetic. But it will have a quaternary structure, a pair of pairs. Will have a two squared for. Geometry of a frame of reference. And so the Gospel of Matthew has, because it is expecting to deliver the frame, the square of attention, the quaternary, the pair of pairs. Which will indeed have a beginning. Indeed have a middle and indeed have an end. But the second volume of Ullrich is chapters eight through 20. And. The third volume is a 21 through 28, so it scrambles into a nice trilogy. The very geometry that gives the frame of attention of the Gospel of Matthew and starts the New Testament founds it. This is the pivotal. Beginning. And. Getting rid of combing out of the snarls. Of taking that there are four gospels and that they are. In fact, that Mark is much more important than Matthew, which must be an imitation of it. And Luke is much more important because it gives us the way in which Paul comes into play. And Mark, of course, being the menu and this menu consists of Peter, emphasizes Peter. And if we comb out Peter and Paul and go to Jesus. We have the four chapters of Matthew giving the frame. And we have the Gospel of John giving the three the Hermetic Guide teaching. And so the Gospel of John has 21 chapters and the 28 plus the 21 make a 49. Seven sevens, which invites in the ancient Semitic wisdom. Deep wisdom. Hi, Dharma. A 50th a jubilee. And that 50th. That jubilee. Is the Epistle to the Hebrews. Whose 12 chapters are like the Jubilee, that this is the new form of the inheritance of a land which is no longer just limited to a promised land. That is, frankly, in terms of the world, hardly even a postage stamp. The maturity of a jubilee, of a return to the ability to live in heaven, to live in the cosmos, among the stars. And that very phrase. To live maturely. Among the stars is one of the haunting visions of our time there now for about 120 years. Going back to HG Wells and even longer, if we look at visionaries. But it is the quality. In chapter two. After 1.1 leading into chapter one of Matthew that founds in this way now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of Herod the King, behold wise men from the east came to Jerusalem saying, Where is he who has been born king of the Jews, for who? He has seen his star in the East and have come to worship him. And it goes on to say. To write so that we may read and understand. That Herod. Perks up. That this is a challenger coming into play, to my being king, my having this hard earned thought empire, which I have defended even to the point of killing two of my own sons who started to get ideas because the decay. Becomes a corruption. Becomes a fascination that deepens into a psychotic quality. Which heard by this time. Had become. So that the three wise men. The three Magi. Not Kings, Magi. Follow the pattern. The celestial pattern. The pattern of the stars. Because they are inheritors. On the first level, they are inheritors of Zoroaster. Zero. Aster. Aster. The stars are all the concentration in gazing. So Zoroaster literally means stargazer stargazers the ability to look. Not intently with ID, but to look with vision. In someone who is an observing astronomer, you become acquainted with what we now colloquially call averted vision. You don't focus because what you focus, you see the atmosphere and various other things distorting it and you don't get the true you don't get a focus. But by averted vision, you are able to collect in a way so that you are able to see instantly with clarity and then to just slightly look away. And then the phrase used to be in the Wild West of the United States, you would shoot a glance. Quick. Draw. Fire. Quick look. Focus. And then. Let it be. So that one can return. The way in which there was an averted vision from the captivating dominance of the world used to rely on the visionary technique of dreams. And in the first chapter of Matthew were given to see that the father of Jesus, Joseph, another Joseph. A Joseph who was actually the 40th. 40 days of rain, 40 days in the wilderness, 40 generations until the birth of that 41st generation. This babe, this infant. That the three wise men from the east, where in the east we actually know this is the first page or two from an article published in 1905 and the academic learned Journal of the Time and it's by AV Williams, Jackson professor at Columbia University in New York City, and its full title, The Magi and Marco Polo and the cities in Persia from which they came to worship the Infant Christ, a V as his initials. A stands for Abraham and V stands for Valentine. Abraham Valentine with a hyphen. Then Williams, Jackson. And his magnum opus was his major study, and that was on a shoestring. Isn't Zoroastrianism. Is big volume, originally published by Columbia University Press. Big red volume. I'll bring it next week. A copy. But the Zoroastrian Magi go far beyond the naming of Zoroaster because his original name was Zarathustra. Zarathustra. In ancient Western 4000 years ago. Westra is a camel Camels. Zara is very good, competent, good with camels. Because his family ran caravan routes, very large, extended caravans, routes from Central Asia. From Samarkand. Just like Sargon of Akkad ran extensive caravans from Akkad. And what is today? Iraq. All the way out to the Mediterranean coast and beyond to what one could see out in the Mediterranean Sea, Cyprus, and all the way is to the Indus River. Tributaries, civilization. So from Indus to Cypress, where the caravan roots of the Semitic Sargon of Akkad, North Semitic and Zarathustra, who then is the inheritor of a family that ran huge caravan routes through Central Asia all the way into China. And that the first caravans of. They reach all the way into China through the Gobi Desert. Was not so much with camels, but had become. Useful by having horses because a lot of the intervening spaces where vast grasslands and horses do well on vast grasslands, camels are great for deserts, so they would have Ramdas. It's an old western term for collections of the animals, of Ramada, of horses, a Ramada of camels interchangeable. And so the quality that came into China with the introduction of those caravan routes founded the first dynasty in China about 2100 B.C., about 100 years before Zarathustra was born. And by that time the use of horses had understood that the power of horses is multiplied, not just add it to by having a pair. So that one had a chariot of a pair of horses as a very limber way of having high mobility. But that you could have, in a short run, a pair of pairs for horse chariots, like in Ben-Hur. But it is the pair of horses that first appear in China with the founding of dynastic China, about 2100 BC. The Shah has eye A and the old spelling. For. Zarathustra, his Goths, go back. He was about 75 years old when he wrote his Goths and Avesta. This is my translation of it took about ten or 12 years. To make this translation. Patiently. He's a contemporary of Abraham. They're both born about 2000 B.C.. Both at 75, had major visionary expressions. For Abraham, it was. The vision of the promised land and going there picking up. From his father's entourage and inheritance. Originally, they were from her. The city that N'Djamena was the high priestess under Sargon. Her father. And the father of Abraham Terah was a maker of images of the moon. God, because Nana the moon God. Was the bail. Paired with Inanna, who was the goddess of the earth that was able to bring the power of the keeping of time by the monthly lunar cycle into a mix with the cycle of nature of the sun. And by having these time forms complex each other, one was able to have a nana and Nana able to understand not only a profound mythology triplet. Of. Written poems and cuneiform. By any donor. But to have for each of the temples as the focus of the traditions and of the culture complexity in the temples of Sumeria. And there were 42 temples. And so her temple hymns are 42 and number. And so in the most ancient written form, 42 is the number of the six sevens that then form this quality of the geometry of a wholeness of visionary written symbol languages that complete the natural cycle in such a way that extends resonant lee vibrationally. Out into further dimensions where consciousness has its full play not as a cycle but as an ecology that opens into. Yes, an infinite field, but it opens into a third field. Best to call it the field of the real. So that the entry goal and the differential become kaleidoscopic together. Presence. That third field the field of the real. There beauty and truth. Make the proportions of a harmonic. Which is eternal. The three magi that come to the birth of the 41st generation. Of that. Generations from Abraham. Ah, because the three Magi. Recognize that the star shows that this baby, this infant of the 41st generation has within him. The ability to transform himself into an infinite and eternal 42nd generation. That's the short way to say it. So that Zarathustra and by the way, the 42 Temple hymns of Inanna are translated in this beautiful University of Texas book Princess, Priestess Poet. And it reads the Sumerian temple hymns of any Giovanna. They weren't Sumerian at all. They were Akkadian. And of this, we have to have a great deal of learning and understanding. That 42nd. Is the culmination where the ecology of consciousness achieves the vibration, the resonances, the harmonic. Of the infinite. Of the eternal. Of the real. And so there is a an interesting thing that in our time. Largely the inheritance of the portraits, the images, the Art of the Three Magi. Does not show the three magi. And any real way. Not even in any conscious way. Here's a volume very thick. It's of an X exhibition of many, many, many. Scores and scores and scores of paintings of the iconography of the three Magi coming to the birth. With Mary and the not the infant Jesus, but like a young child already. Because it's just an iconography of an ideology. Based upon a ritual distortion because they do not read, they do not vision, and without that, penetrating and averted. Focus capacity to not only intuit instantly the focus, but spontaneously the coming of the vision that in a natural, mythic way would be dreams. Those spontaneous visions are. The source of art. Of the prismatic jeweled person, the artist. In their own lives with others, and that that community has a history. It has a historical dimension. And that by combing out and coming to understand the beauty and the truth and the proportions of that historical dimensions, what emerges is really the infinite refine able, eternal science. It reads this way. In what has come to be passed as the text of. Matthew, but obviously has a slight interpolation. When they. Came to Herod in his palace and told them they were there to worship the infant who was going to be the new king. They were unsure of just where it was. The star was covering a vast field, and so Herod gathered all of the sophisticated rabbis and priests and diviners, and they came to understand that there must be something written in Scripture. And they came to. Understand that the scripture that really applied most to them was from the Book of Micah. This is the Fortress Press matching Old Testament and Yellow New Testament and red edition of Micah. A book of Micah. And it's interesting because in the Book of Micah. And the translation which I. The scribes in their sophisticated learning education. They told him in Bethlehem of Judea, for it is so written by the prophet. And you owe Bethlehem in the land of Judah are by no means least among the rulers of Judah, for from you shall come a ruler who will govern my people. Israel. So the three wise men had their search refined to Bethlehem. They had the timing right, and now they had the geography focused. And in their averted vision as they were entering into Bethlehem. Bethlehem at that time was about six or seven miles from the city of David, which was the core of Jerusalem. And when you come in from that time, honored, well-worn paths. Trail Road. The outskirts of Bethlehem have the well of Rachel. The sacred wells are always the earliest focus of where the settlement will pivot itself. Because as you go from the high. Ground of Jerusalem, down towards Bethlehem. That well of Rachel will sustain you because the further adventure then is back up into the heights of this great mountain ridge on which not only is Jerusalem located, but further south is located. The other complement to it, which is Hebron, which is very high. And from Hebron, one can look out and see the great Sloping Valley grounds that laid off to the Mediterranean in the very far distance. So at the well of Rachel, like the well of Jacob. Is situated not in Jerusalem or Hebron. It's situated near Mount Gerizim. There's actually two mountains there. One is gerizim sacred to. Semitic. Jewish prophecy. The other mountain was dedicated to Baal, the ancient God power of Canaan and Canaanites. The prophet born at the top of. Kerosene was the prophet Samuel. Who's the one who made the King ship? Of ancient Judea, of ancient Jewish tradition. He's the one that made. And then unmade and then made again remade King David and passed on. The making would be for the prophet Nathan to carry on his prophetic vision. And it was Nathan who came to the old King David after his son Absalom, had absconded with his kingdom and drove him across down into where the Dead Sea was and across the Jordan at Wadi Karar, where he gathered the few loyal to him. And it was there that Bathsheba brought their son Solomon, And as soon as King David recognized Solomon as the true king inheritor. He was able to regain his kingdom. And all that came to pass is the Prophet Nathan from the Prophet Samuel from Mount Gerizim below, which is the well of Jacob Complement to the well of Rachel outside of Bethlehem and on into that small community. Because then the Passover census, the Roman Empire had long come in to play. We need to count. We need to measure it. We need to know. We need to be able to. Keep control by planning. And enforcing. And making sure that the tradition matches our laws. And that the rituals confirm those laws as the basis of your culture and your experience, your image base, and the way in which your belief is characterized by your experience. And all of this comes together in the way in which our empire. As the major social order in the world that we know of, except for the Han Empire in China, many, many thousands of miles away. And not any competition so far. Would have it. Interestingly. In that crust. Of 500 years ago. While the trusts have a nadir called, as I use Huxley's term, the Via Negativa, the crest has been for a long time called a Renaissance. And 500 years ago, 1500 A.D. The powerful leading up to that renaissance was that somehow. The Secret of the Magi, which had been elusive and was still elusive culturally and skewed fo civilization wide. That there was a secret tradition all the time hidden not in the Western empire, Rome, but in those people that refer to themselves as the Eastern Empire, Rome, which was Byzantium. Constantinople. And they've been characterized as Byzantines. And one of the latest volumes just a few years ago. Radical Platonism in Byzantium. Cambridge Classical Studies. Nikita's Spinoza. Glue A. The cover. Is from a fresco wall. Built for the Medici family who were the Renaissance? Of that time at its most vibrant. Its most resonant cresting. And this is a cover from the Chapel of the Magi. The procession of the Magi, not the journey of them, but the procession. The journey where the Three Magi at the birth of Jesus.
