Summer Solstice Celebration
The Third Annual Summer Solstice Celebration by Mr. Weir at the [Philosophical Research] Society. As in past years, many aspects of the symbolic nature in the season's festivities will be shown: Material from Celtic Druid traditions, Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream in its occult mythological mode, Sun-Buddha mysticism, Original works as well as those from unusual traditional sources, and the 90-minute color film Okan, made by the Glenbow Museum of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 1961 in conjunction with the Blackfoot tribe.
