Hasteen Klah: Navaho Medicine Artist
Single presentation
Saturday, Mar 6, 1982
Forty-five years ago Manly P. Hall hosted a special visit by the great Navaho medicine man, Hasteen Klah. The American sage stayed with Mr. Hall 'comfortably sleeping under the bed rather than on it,' and used his talents to render a set of esoteric drawings (20' x 28'). This was the last year of Klah's life, and these mystic sketches form a hidden treasure in the PRS Library in testament of the last real Yeibichai Priest.
